1. IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal

IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal Course for LVN Certification: $285

Critical Care Training Center is pleased to offer in our IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal course for LVN certification in Los Angeles. This course has been BVNPT (Board of Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians) approved in California for LVNs. Students who complete the course will be certified in IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal, authorizing them to offer this service in their practice.

This is a 3-day, 36-hour course that is delivered in part online (self pace) and part classroom.

Because this course results in 36 (CE) credit hours, each day will consist of a full day of classroom time – breaks will be offered, but will not form part of the class hours.

In order to pass, students will need to demonstrate, successfully, IV insertions and blood withdrawals. Students will practice inserting IVs and drawing blood on one another. Students who, for whatever reason, would prefer not to have these procedures performed upon them, can bring someone with them for the clinical portion of the course.

This is the perfect opportunity for LVNs to upgrade their professional accreditation, meet and mingle with their peers, and swap stories in a friendly, stress-free learning environment.
