Meet Our Team

Shota Mkrtumyan BSN, CEN

Director of Nursing

Shota Mkrtumyan is a former United States Army Infantry Combat Lifesaver who has dedicated his career to helping people make informed decisions when the stakes are high.

After completing his military service, Shota continued his commitment to protecting others by becoming a registered nurse. For more than 15 years, he has worked in trauma, emergency, and non-emergency healthcare settings, gaining firsthand experience in the critical moments when preparation, knowledge, and decisive action can save a life.

Recognizing the urgent need for more people to understand how to respond during medical emergencies, Shota founded Critical Care Training Center. The organization was created to provide individuals, healthcare professionals, businesses, and members of the Los Angeles community with the practical training and confidence necessary to administer CPR and other lifesaving care.

Shota’s approach goes beyond simply teaching a course. He believes effective training should prepare people to remain calm, think clearly, and take meaningful action when another person’s life may depend on it. His extensive clinical experience allows him to bring real-world perspective into the classroom and translate complex medical information into practical, understandable skills.

His entrepreneurial and educational work also led him to establish Los Angeles Career College, where he continues helping students prepare for meaningful careers in healthcare.

In addition to his work in healthcare and education, Shota is the founder of OurHome123, a real estate advisory brand created to help buyers, sellers, investors, and healthcare entrepreneurs evaluate property with greater clarity. Drawing from his background in healthcare, business, construction planning, and regulatory environments, he helps clients look beyond appearance and location to consider how access, layout, utilities, improvements, buildout requirements, and long-term property potential may affect their goals.

Whether he is preparing someone to respond during a medical emergency, helping a student begin a healthcare career, or guiding a client through an important property decision, Shota’s mission remains consistent: provide people with the knowledge, preparation, and support they need to move forward with confidence.

“A wise person should consider that health is the greatest of human blessings.”
